2. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the contractual relationship between Scoroù and any individual (hereinafter "the Customer") subscribing to a paid plan on the platform scorou.com.
3. Description of services
Scoroù is an online platform for creating, editing, sharing, and managing musical scores in ABC notation, designed specifically for practitioners of Breton and Celtic music.
The following paid subscription plans are available:
- Solo Plan: extended access for an individual user, subject to the limits described on the pricing page.
- Ensemble Plan: unlimited access for one user and advanced management of sharing groups, suitable for bagadoù, Celtic circles, and music schools.
Full details of the features included in each plan are available on the subscription page.
4. Pricing
Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes. As a sole trader benefiting from the VAT exemption scheme (Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code), Scoroù does not charge VAT. Invoices issued include the statement: "VAT not applicable — Article 293 B CGI".
Billing is annual, from the date of subscription. The annual price is clearly displayed before any order is confirmed.
5. Order and subscription
Subscribing to a paid plan is done on scorou.com. The Customer must:
- Have an active Scoroù account.
- Choose a plan on the pricing page.
- Be redirected to the secure Stripe payment page.
- Confirm the order after reviewing the summary (amount, duration, chosen plan).
The contract is formed upon payment confirmation. A confirmation email is sent to the address associated with the account.
6. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.), a PCI-DSS certified secure payment provider. Scoroù does not store any banking data. Accepted payment methods are bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) as offered by Stripe.
In the event of a payment failure at renewal, the Customer is notified by email. Stripe may make additional debit attempts. If payment remains unsuccessful after the grace period, the subscription is cancelled and access to the paid plan is suspended.
7. Duration and renewal
Subscriptions are taken out for a period of one year and renew automatically on the anniversary date, unless cancelled beforehand.
The Customer receives a reminder email before the renewal date. They may cancel at any time from the "My subscription" section of their personal account.
8. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a 14-day withdrawal period from the date of subscription, without having to provide a reason.
However, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the same code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content whose performance has begun with the Customer's express agreement before the expiry of the withdrawal period. By confirming their order and immediately accessing the plan's features, the Customer expressly acknowledges waiving their right of withdrawal.
If the Customer has not yet accessed the paid features, they may exercise their right of withdrawal by sending an email to julien@scorou.com within the applicable period.
9. Cancellation
The Customer may cancel their subscription at any time from their personal account (the "My subscription" section). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. No pro-rata refund is issued for the remaining period, except in the exercise of the right of withdrawal under the conditions set out in Article 8.
In the event of a plan change (upgrade or downgrade), the pro-rata terms are those applied by Stripe and displayed to the Customer before confirmation.
10. Service availability
Scoroù endeavours to ensure the availability of the service as far as possible. Occasional interruptions may occur for maintenance or technical reasons. Scoroù cannot be held liable for any harm resulting from a temporary interruption of the service.
11. Personal data
Personal data collected in connection with the subscription (name, email address) is used solely for account and subscription management. It is not sold to third parties. For more information, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
12. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, the Customer may contact Scoroù at julien@scorou.com in order to seek an amicable resolution. Failing agreement, the competent courts shall be those of the defendant's place of domicile, in accordance with common law applicable to consumers.
The Customer may also use consumer mediation. Scoroù is affiliated with the following mediation service: [MEDIATOR NAME]. The European online dispute resolution platform is accessible at: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. Applicable law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
